The Merseyside Group of the RoSPA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents) Advanced Drivers Association was frormed in November 1995, becoming a registered Charity in 1997.

The specific aim of the Group is: "To improve Road Safety in general and Driving Standards in particular through the RoSPA Advanced Driving Test".
